About Me


I am an Assistant Professor specializing in Family Business and Entrepreneurship at the Swiss Institute of Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship (KMU-HSG) and the Center for Family Business (CFB-HSG) within the University of St.Gallen. Prior to my current position, I served as the General Manager at the St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia (SGI-HSG) for a period of five years. This institute, located in Singapore, was the University of St.Gallen’s inaugural international institute. During the pursuit of my PhD, I held the role of Research Associate at the Institute of Management (IFB-HSG) from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, I spent a year as a visiting PhD candidate at INSEAD in Singapore from 2013 to 2014, further enriching my academic experience and perspectives.

I have gained teaching experience at both the University of St.Gallen and Singapore Management University (SMU). My teaching portfolio includes:

  • Managerial Impact Project Corporate Entrepreneurship (MGM-HSG, HS/FS)
  • Corporate Governance (MGM-HSG, FS)
  • Corporate and Business Development in Southeast Asia (MGM-HSG, 2015 – 2022)
  • Business Study Mission Malaysia (Bachelor in Business Administration, SMU, 2015 – 2019)
  • Various executive-level lectures covering firm strategy in general and within the context of family business and Southeast Asia.

Additionally, I have obtained the CAS Higher Education Didactic Certificate from the University of St.Gallen, further enhancing my teaching skills and pedagogical approach.
