I am an Assistant Professor of Management with a focus on Family Business at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. My career has been shaped by diverse experiences, including building a university institute in Singapore, developing teaching programs for students at all levels—from bachelor to executive education—and founding the St.Galler Owner Manager Forum.
My Research
My research focuses on corporate governance, boards of directors, and succession, particularly in family businesses, and their influence on firm strategies. I examine how firm owners and boards navigate today’s complex environment to shape strategic decision-making.
By bridging academic theory with practical insights, my work seeks to offer innovative perspectives that resonate with both scholars and practitioners. My research has been published in leading journals, including the Strategic Management Journal.
