I am Assistant Professor for Management with a special emphasis on Family Business at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>My research<\/strong> focuses on corporate governance and firm ownership, in particular family businesses. I believe that both firm owners and boards of directors have become more influential on firms&#8217; strategic decision-making in today&#8217;s world. My research pursues two overarching goals. These goals are (1) to better understand the strategic role of owners and what makes a good firm owner, and (2) to advance our understanding of boards as guardians of and mediators between stakeholder interests.  I aim to be a scholar with impact and my research is often inspired by conversations and exchange with practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>My entrepreneurial spirit<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>You will soon find more information about my research and projects here.
